Spring Hill Medical Centre loses prescribing rights

This is the statement OARS has received from the PCT regarding the Spring Hill Medical Centre dispensary. 
   
'The position in Arley is that all processes have been completed.

A period of nine months from end of June has been set for the ‘migration’ of existing dispensing patients on the Spring Hill dispensing list who live within 1.6km (1 mile) from the pharmacy in the Post Office off the dispensing list.

A letter should be sent from the practice to all affected patients to say that after the nine months they will be removed from the dispensing list.  No other patients on the dispensing list at the practice will be affected.'
 
OARS regrets the loss of dispensing rights at the Medical Centre and hopes that the loss of patients to the pharmacy will not affect the viability of the new medical centre in Old Arley.
