The North Warwickshire Core Strategy is the key planning document which will set out the long term development vision for the area and the policies needed to deliver sustainable communities in the period up to 2026.

A key purpose of the Core Strategy is to identify where new development will take place, its type and scale, as well as protecting what is valued about the area.

Public consultation on the Pre-Submission Publication Draft Core Strategy has now commenced with effect from Thursday 20 October and will run until Thursday 12 January 2012. Comments on this document are welcome now. The documents can be viewed below and at the Council House, South Street, Atherstone and all local libraries.
