Old Arley Residents Society
Proposed New Pavilion

Proposed pavilion /changing
rooms for the Recreation Ground,
Old Arley (artist’s impression only)
The proposed building would consist of:
Changing rooms for 4 teams (assumes 13 people per team)
Showers to accommodate 8 people at a time, and sufficient toilets
Referees changing, shower and toilet (assumes 3 officials)
Communal area/room for cricket teas.
Small kitchen area
Storage
Balcony
Disabled access
Security, alarms, shutters etc.
To date (Nov. 2009) OARS has approached North Warwickshire Borough Council to ask for their support. We would like them to grant a lease on the land so that we, and our partners in the project, can apply for grants to fund the building of the pavilion. We have also visited Napton Sports Club, a sports complex in a small village, and spoken to the organisers to find out how they raised capital funding for their project, and the problems of raising enough money for the day-to-day running costs.
